JOB?
Hopefully I will know today if anyone else will get my job. I have a little feeling of dread... But the sun is shining, and it is almost (3 months) spring, so perhaps I can work on my house in all the free time I might have? Or go get another job... Or go back to EduCare. Of course, we wont be able to turn on the heat or buy any food, so maybe I should polish up the old resume? I would just like to keep the job I have. I really like it. I'll let you all know how it goes later in the day.

After the posting of my job closes, if no one takes it, I have to wait and see how many letters they will send to qualified applicants who took the State Exam. I am one of those qualified people, but am not sure where I am on the list. I passed and all, but how many people scored higher? I am not really sure how long this part of the process will take, but I am sure getting tired of the whole thing. I just want to keep my job! No matter what happens with this whole process, I am going to re take the State Exam, with a calculator and my new found expertise in Microsoft Excel, and I am going to score 100%, dammit! Then I will know I am at the TOP!!!
Baby, you ARE the tops!
Aw, shucks. Thanks LA.
Okay, No one who is "IN" wanted to take my job! That means that now they have to send out interview letters to people who took the state exam and qualify for my job. So now my boss gets to hire who she wants, and hopefully that will be me.
I got a call today from H.R. that my application was inactive and I had NO qualifications listed. WTF?! So I went in there and sure enough, everything was blank. My test score was there, but nothing else. Not even that I can "handle money and count back change". Thankfully the nice lady was able and willing to go in as site administrator and put all that back in then activated my file. So I am now, hopefully, eligable for my job once again. How did it get deleted? I can't access that information... It is very confusing, but thankfully resolved.
